Founded in November 2011, ACG Sweetie Club is an interest-oriented club that is aimed at offering a platform for ACG lovers at Jilin University. The club is a rally point of all members to discuss the latest news of foreign animation, look back nostalgically on old cartoon, share with gaming skills and engage in cosplay activities. The club has recruited a diverse range of students from freshman to doctoral candidates. Until now, club members has almost reached over 150. The environment of the club is very relax and harmonious that all members are getting on very well. The club has also set up a branch at Xinmin campus of Jilin University. ACG Sweetie Club has participated in many competitions such as China Joy and China International Cartoon & Animation Festival, etc. and achieved distinction from them. Besides, the club has also held and co-held meet-and-greet events of production team fromThe Legend of Qinand of production team fromOne Hundred Thousand Bad Jokesand gave LL special performance. All activities above have received high praise from student audience. In the future, the club will continuously organize more activities that are entertaining and participate in competitions actively to enrich the after-school life and attain the development in an all-round way. Hence, the club can be more energetic and vigorous with more cohesion force.
