Violet Flame Drama Society is the most famous student society in Jilin University. It is the school-level student society featured prominently in drama & play and is among the nine major student art troupes of Jilin University, which in the best way represents the campus culture on behalf of the College of the Humanities. With drama as soul and culture as foundation, the society has persevered in pure attempts to attain artistic pursuit and dedicated to highlight all kinds of drama culture. Activities of the society feature drama appreciation, drama research and drama performance alike. The society has put on performances of classical plays such asHamlet, Air Hostess, Thunderstorm, Family and Sunrise, etc. as well as avant-garde dramaChe GuevaraandPavel Andreevich Korchaginalike. Besides, the society has also successfully held several campus drama competitions.
