The regional culture in the northeast China is an important part of Chinese culture. With a long history and profound foundation, the northeast regional culture is one of birthplaces of Chinese culture and is an integral part of Chinese culture together with other culture in the central plains of China.
The northeast regional culture applies to the concept of cultural space as well as to the concept of time that continues history. Therefore, it is a cultural compound of time and space. The article covers: The changes of people in the northeast China and the historical evolution of the northeast regional culture. However, compared with the culture of the central plains, the northeast culture lacks continuity. As a result, with natural and social changes, the northeast culture has discontinuity and less-developed features during its whole process of development.
