Founded in 1993, Jilin University Ads Society now boasts 281 society members and is the earliest founded ads society among Chinese universities. The society is affiliated with the College of Journalism and Communication of Jilin University. At the beginning of its establishment, the society was regarded as a collective membership unit by China Advertising Association and thus became the first college-student society that has gained such title. The society is an interest-oriented service-focused society organized and guided by the Department of Advertisement of the College of Journalism and Communication, Jilin University. The society lays the groundwork for advertising person as well as a wide range of talents from other colleges at the university. With years of development, the society takes planning and innovation as its core and the promotion of the advertising spirit as its target. It also emphasizes personal special skills (such as graphic design, video editing and innovative planning, etc.) and provides an excellent platform for students who are innovative, learning-loving as well as participation-advocating talents.
